Agreement to Terms
By creating an account, accessing, or using the DoctoLin platform in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the platform.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to register as a doctor or clinic admin. Patients may have family member accounts managed on behalf of minors by an adult account holder. By using the platform, you represent that you meet these requirements.
Updates to Terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.
Account Accuracy
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account. Providing false credentials — including fabricated medical license numbers — may result in immediate account termination and may be subject to applicable legal consequences.
Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@doclin.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
One Account Per User
Each individual may maintain only one personal account. Clinics may have one admin account with additional staff sub-accounts (receptionist, nurse) created within the platform. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent plan restrictions or bans is prohibited.
Email Verification
All newly registered accounts require email verification before login is permitted. Verification links expire after 24 hours. If your link expires, you may request a new one from the login page.
Permitted Uses
The platform is intended for legitimate healthcare management purposes: scheduling appointments, managing patient records, coordinating between doctors and clinics, and sending appointment-related communications to patients.
Prohibited Conduct
You must not: (a) use the platform to harass, threaten, or deceive any user; (b) upload false medical information or impersonate a licensed healthcare provider; (c) attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or data; (d) use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the platform; (e) send unsolicited commercial messages to patients through the notification system.
Medical Disclaimer
DoctoLin is a scheduling and management platform — it is not a medical advice service. No information exchanged through the platform constitutes a doctor-patient relationship or medical diagnosis. Patients should always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions.
Content Responsibility
You are solely responsible for any content you upload, including profile information, appointment notes, and medical records. You must not upload content that is defamatory, illegal, or infringes third-party intellectual property rights.
License Verification
Doctors registering on the platform must hold a valid medical license issued by the appropriate Indian medical council. DoctoLin reserves the right to verify credentials and suspend accounts where licenses cannot be confirmed.
Accurate Information
Clinics and doctors must keep their profiles — including consultation fees, availability, and contact details — accurate and up to date. Misleading information that causes patient harm may result in account suspension.
Appointment Commitments
Accepting a patient appointment creates an obligation to honour that appointment or provide timely cancellation notice. Repeated unexplained cancellations or no-shows may result in account review.
Staff Account Management
Clinic admins are responsible for the actions of staff accounts (receptionists, nurses) created under their clinic. Ensure that staff access is revoked promptly when employment ends.
Plan Activation
Subscription plans for doctors and clinics are activated and managed by the DoctoLin admin team. Users do not self-activate paid plans. Contact us to request plan changes or upgrades.
Trial Period
New doctor and clinic accounts receive a free trial period as granted by the admin. Trials are limited to one per entity. Attempting to circumvent this limit by creating duplicate accounts is a violation of these Terms.
Feature Access
Features available to you depend on your active subscription plan. Access to plan-gated features will be restricted if your plan expires or is downgraded. Paid plan fees are non-refundable unless required by applicable law.
Prices
Subscription prices are as listed on the Payment Plans page at the time of activation. All prices are in Indian Rupees (₹) and exclusive of applicable GST. We reserve the right to update pricing with notice to existing subscribers.
Platform Ownership
All software, design, source code, trademarks, and content comprising the DoctoLin platform are the exclusive property of DoctoLin and its licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.
Your Content
You retain ownership of data and content you submit to the platform (e.g., patient records, profile information). By submitting content, you grant DoctoLin a limited licence to store, process, and transmit it solely as necessary to provide the service.
Prohibited Reproduction
You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell, or create derivative works based on the DoctoLin platform without explicit written permission from DoctoLin.
No Warranties
The platform is provided 'as is' and 'as available'. DoctoLin makes no warranties — express or implied — regarding the accuracy, reliability, or uninterrupted availability of the service.
Liability Cap
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, DoctoLin's total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the platform shall not exceed the subscription fees you paid in the three months preceding the claim.
No Liability for Medical Outcomes
DoctoLin is not responsible for the quality of healthcare services provided by doctors or clinics using the platform. We are a scheduling and management tool only. Medical outcomes are the sole responsibility of the treating healthcare provider.
Force Majeure
DoctoLin is not liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, internet outages, government actions, or third-party service failures.
Termination by You
You may close your account at any time by contacting us at hello@doclin.com. Upon termination, your access to the platform will cease. Data retention after account closure is governed by our Privacy Policy.
Termination by DoctoLin
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately, without notice, if we determine that you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or pose a risk to other users or the platform.
Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law — will continue to apply.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
Dispute Resolution
Before initiating legal proceedings, you agree to first contact us at hello@doclin.com to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve any complaint within 30 days.
